About the Event:
Launched in 2015, Proudly Made In Aba is an initiative of Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the Executive Governor of Abia State in his effort upon assumption of office to reposition Aba as an economic giant with special focus on Aba’s strength as a major fashion hub in Nigeria. This initiative has gained traction, attracting both local and international endorsements from reputable institutions like the Ford Foundation/TBWA, which has since adopted and sponsored the Abia State Government’s Proudly Made in Aba brand campaign project. The federal government of Nigeria through several of her agencies is also on board in supporting the Aba fashion and creative industries.
